My wife and I have been putting up students from Kingston University and the occassional lodger for over 35 years.
We live in a tree lined Avenue within very easy reach of buses, station and shops.
This is our family home and the room is on the top floor adjacent to bathroom with shower.
Occaisionally members of the family will be staying and sharing the bathroom.
There will be use of the large kitchen and we would ask for whoever, to work around our mealtimes. Never been a problem.
Our preference is final year students or post grads.
