Two large single rooms in an arty house

Two large single rooms are currently available – each is furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, mirror, writing desk, reading lamp, chair and rug.

The kitchen-diner-sofa open-plan area (shown) is a communal area. And the bathroom (shown) is also shared.

Transport: the house is in a great location: five mins’ walk from Fulwell mainline station with trains every half hour to Clapham Junction and Waterloo. Kingston is a 10-min train ride away and several buses go to Richmond.

Local shops and parks: there’s big Lidl 8 mins’ walk away, as well as other shops and cafés in easy walking distance in nearby Hampton Hill village and Teddington town centre. Bushy Park with its wild green spaces and roaming deer is 10 mins’ walk from the house.

The price includes broadband and bills – however, if you have a car, you’d need to arrange your own annual parking residents’ permit (as we’ve recently become a CPZ).

If you like colour and a creative atmosphere, you’ll feel at home in this house. However, if you also like to be hermit-y that’s perfect – I’m looking for lodgers, not necessarily housemates (the difference being that socialising is optional)!

My situation: I’m a semi empty-nester – my adult daughter who has recently graduated uni is at home sometimes and hoping to move out soon.

P. S. Re short-term lets, I'd consider this (i. e. just letting the room for a few weeks) but would need to increase the cost of the rent (dependent on length of stay).
