It's a nice ground floor flat in a quiet street in Teddington. It's fairly cosy, well insulated and has a nice interior with wooden floors, venetian blinds, shared bathroom, loungeroom, washer/dryer and space outside to hang out, see photos.
The room is £745 pcm not including bills. The bills (each) are roughly £120 council tax (Band C), £20 internet, £22 water and about £40 gas/electricity in summer, about double that in winter depending on how much we use the heating.
The room is semi furnished. The bedframe and wardrobe are for sale and can be removed if they're not wanted. There's space in the loungeroom to put a small table if we want. The flat has its own adjacent car space. The landlord is very attentive and things are fixed quickly.
You'll be living with me! An Australian expat dual British citizen. I'm a professional applied physicist/engineer working locally and I go in the office every day, so if you work from home you'll be in peace.
The most important thing is that whoever moves in we get along well together, which probably means we have some things in common. I'm not overly neat nor am I very messy and I clean up after myself. I'm perfectly fine in my own company, where I'll be reading, gaming, watching stuff or whatever. I'm also happy socializing and I enjoy a pint, cooking, good conversation and banter.
