A lady with poor mobility and balance and memory problems is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking up to four or five meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, hanging up the laundry, carrying heavier items, and ad hoc other practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a small single room with a bed and small desk and chair (other furniture to be discussed).

The property is very well presented in a mews close the heart of Teddington with shops and restaurants, and less than 10 minutes’ walk to Teddington Station.

A retired social worker, the lady is interested in art and music and watching documentaries and dramas on TV. She also enjoys playing Scrabble and Chinese Checkers. She also has a very friendly and affectionate short-haired cat.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
