Description
Sadly I am moving out of our lovely riverside flat so we are looking for someone to take my room.
The room has a double bed, shelves and hanging space/clothes storage. There’s also extra storage space in the living room. It has a south-west facing window so gets plenty of sun. It’s not the biggest room but it has everything you need, and it's really nice to snuggle up when the cold weather comes.
The flat is pretty big - we have a large living, a large kitchen, a shower room, a bathroom with bathtub and loo (newly refurnished) and then a separate loo as well. We also have access to a communal garden shared with the three other flats in the building. The people in the other flats are friendly and always say hello.
The flatmates are really great, we’re a friendly bunch who enjoy spending time together. The flatmates are a British couple, a British and an Italian girl. All work full-time in a variety of jobs.
The other (most important!) flatmate is a wonderful German Spitz dog - a friend of mine once called her “a fluffy cloud of love.” She belongs to the couple in the flat, who walk her and clean up after her etc. Your only responsibility would be to indulge her addiction to being made a fuss of.
The flat is in a really awesome area. It’s a stone's throw from the river, and less than a minute walk from Lidl. The road is lined with nice places to eat and charity shops which always have great stuff in them. There is a bus stop seconds from the flat that takes you to Richmond station - for District line, London Overground and the fast National Rail train to Waterloo - in five minutes (or it’s a 12-minute walk.) St Margaret’s rail station is nearby too if you’re heading towards Twickenham, Kingston or Wimbledon.
The rent is really decent for the area at £665 per month including ALL bills - council tax, water, gas, electric, high speed internet and a cleaner who comes once a week.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, considerate and ideally a dog lover. You’ll also need to be in employment to satisfy the agency’s requirements. We deal with an agency called Wallakers, who are generally pretty good and responsive.
For parking, a parking permit is about 100-120 a year, you get it through the council website. Otherwise parking restrictions are 10-4:30 Monday to Friday.
The room is available from 15 July 2025!
Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to come round for a viewing!
