We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we
find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help,
support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.

About the Householder
A lovely lady in her 80’s lives in a spacious 3-bedroom house in Wembley, London.
The lady is already surrounded by a great support network within her 3 adult children and their partners. She is joyful, sociable and enjoys being in company.

She is seeking a female homesharer who is able to speak Gujarati as an additional language to English. Sharing a common language and cultural background would be ideal and help build a natural connection and make everyday conversation more comfortable and enjoyable. Hindi speakers would also be considered.

The most important aspect of this homeshare arrangement is companionship and having someone present in the evenings and overnight. Knowing that a trusted person is in the home would provide the lady with a greater sense of safety, security, and reassurance, offering valuable peace of mind for both her and her family.

The lady takes great pride in her home and enjoys keeping it clean, comfortable, and welcoming. She would appreciate a homesharer who is happy to help maintain this atmosphere and occasionally prepare and share an evening meal together.

The ideal homesharer would be a kind, friendly and compassionate female who is keen to become a positive part of the lady's daily life and provide reassuring companionship.

Applicants must be non-smokers, and pets are not permitted within the housing complex.
