Description
To move in on the 27th of October.
I just moved into this 2 bed apartment in Wembley Park, but my roommate has had her situation change and so can no longer stay here. The lease is until August 27, 2026.
The place:
- 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with a large living room/kitchen, and a balcony facing the courtyard.
- Your room has a double bed, wardrobe, desk, and chair - and I think is the bigger room between the two here.
- part of a development which is very safe (it requires you to use your key twice just to get in the block) and is regularly cleaned, with a concierge who collects parcels and answers questions.
- In Wembley Park, with shops all around - Tesco is less than 10 minutes there and back, and a nearby Sainsbury’s local, and big ASDA. Wembley Park is a super nice, modern, and exciting area, it’s very cool to be near Wembley stadium.
- Spacious kitchen, and big rooms. Genuinely a very nice apartment, I love it here.
- 10 minute walk to Wembley Park station. Metropolitan line is super convenient to get into central. Jubilee line is on the Night Tube. There are two walking routes to the station as well, you can go through the centre of the park which feels very safe. These lines are also not underground, so they are not as hot and it doesn’t take very long to get to the train platform, and there’s still phone service on the train. Also very close to Wembley Stadium - the National Rail stop, and Wembley Central (Bakerloo and Lioness) if needed.
- Comes with furniture, wardrobes, chest of drawers, vacuum, TV, microwave, vacuum, washing machine + dryer, dishwasher etc.
- Super quiet - no road noise.
- 4th floor, so hardly any bugs fly in! But not too high off the ground which is reassuring - so it’s possible to walk up/down. Also no noise from upstairs flat, it’s the top floor.
- No gas, and the apartment is naturally warm - so there’s no need for heating.
- Council tax band D. EE broadband.
Requirements for roommate:
- female!
- Clean and tidy! Very important
- NO smoking or pets. These are not permitted on the lease.
- be ready to stay for the entire lease until August 2026. (if we stay longer is up to negotiation)
- Have enough money to pay the £1250 a month (this is an assumed average after bills) (this is 15,000 a year, and so ideally you’ll have at least 22,000 after tax, whether this is a salary or help from family) and the relevant documents, like the right to stay in the UK, and a proof of employment if applicable.
I know this is expensive but it’s honestly worth it!!
Preferences for roommate:
- 18/19/20 - I work with lots of older people and so it would be nice to have someone of my age😭 But anyone up to like 25 would work, so don’t be too put off if you’re not 18/19/20, as long as you’re ready to live with me!
- Student is not ideal because of the tax situation. So in the perfect world you’d be an apprentice or working, like me. However, if you are a student willing to pay the extra council tax then do reach out.
- most importantly, someone who will be friendly in the house and that will not avoid me. I would really love to live with a friend - to talk about our days, and go out together.
About me:
- 18 year old female.
- Working as a transport planner.
- Open to people with different backgrounds!
I forgot to add pictures of me. I’m sorry lol.
If I sound boring in this ad, I promise it’s the corporate environment having gotten to me🙏
Send me a message if you think you’d be a good fit!
