I'm relocating abroad and am looking for someone to take over my existing tenancy agreement for the remaining period via an official Deed of Variation with the landlord (Quintain Living) — a straightforward, landlord-approved handover, not a casual sublet. The incoming tenant will need to pass referencing and a Right to Rent check (standard documents: ID, proof of address, income confirmation). Processing takes around 10 working days once documents are submitted, plus a £50 admin fee charged by the landlord — so the sooner we start, the smoother the move-in date.
Deposit: £1000, already protected with TDS and stays with the tenancy — no need to lodge a fresh deposit with a scheme. Payable to me directly as part of the handover.
Move-in: viewings available this week, quick turnaround possible for the right person.
