AFFORDABLE accommodation offered in Whitton, London, TW3 area, excellent opportunity for a Female homesharer who is looking to live in a beautiful home with some period features.
We are a Not-for-Profit charity in London who run a Homeshare programme, where we find Homesharers who are willing to provide approximately 10 hours a week of help/support and companionship to a householder who has a spare room.
TRANSPORT
• 10-15 min walk from Hounslow Central Station tube station.
10 min walk from Hounslow East (both on Piccadilly line)
Bus H28 from Hounslow East station is 2 min walk from property.
HOUSEHOLDER
A lovely lady in her 70’s, lives in a 3 bedroom semi detached house on a cul de sac in Whitton, London.
The lady already has a great support network within the family to provide some level of support already but would like a homesharer for reassurance, company, companionship and support with day to day living.
The lady has some health complications and her family feel support in prompting their mother to eat and take medications regularly would assist in her daily routine.
The householder is very sociable and loves to go shopping exploring new wellbeing facilities like spas and saunas, enjoys eating at different restaurants, watching her evening Indian television and quiz shows.
The ideal homesharer would be female aged between 35 - 45, speaks English with no heavy accents.
Ideally someone who can speak any of the following languages - Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu, someone who can cook indian food but will consider all applicants.
Someone who will be happy to get involved and do some activities together.
Someone who is nice, caring, understanding, kind and compassionate, tidy. Can offer some companionship at times but space when required. will be able to accompany to some appointments.
Welcomes a smoker or non-smoker but NO smoking in the house.
Will consider applicants that own a cat but NO dog.
Would suit an individual interested in offering some light support to an elderly woman.
This lady often goes to stay with family for short breaks. They have a weekly cleaner for 3-4 hours and a gardener every three weeks. They and their family feel that an overnight presence will provide the support and reassurance for the couple to thrive and continue living in their own property independently.
ACCOMMODATION
Semi detached 3 bedroom house with off street parking and maintained garden.
Downstairs has 1 large through lounge/dining area, a galley style kitchen.
Lounge has a television.
Good WiFi connection throughout.
First floor has 3 bedrooms, two larger rooms and a smaller box room with a shared wet room and separate toilet.
The Homesharer will have the street facing double bedroom room on the first floor consisting of a double bed, with wardrobes and a chest of drawers.
Use of the shared family bathroom on 1st floor.
shared use of front living/dining area, kitchen and garden.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
The room is available May 2024 subject to DBS, Reference and ID checks and after an initial homesharer interview has been organised.
