Buses take you quickly to Twickenham, Richmond and Hounslow.
Nearest underground station is Richmond on the district line.

The neighbourhood
The road we live on is quiet (we're near but not above the flight path) and comes with secure gated parking.
The busy Whitton high street is a 10 minute walk away, it has four supermarkets, lots of shops/cafes and fast trains to London Waterloo. A twenty minute walk (or 5 minute bus ride will take you to Twickenham and the River Thames.
Bushy Park, Richmond Park, Kew Gardens and Sion House are all within 20 mins bike ride if you want some fresh air. It’s quiet and very safe here.
