An older lady with poor memory is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and some friendly company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She is lonely and would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would enjoy the company of someone watching TV with her, plus some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking up to four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, laundry, carrying heavier items, help in the garden and ad hoc tasks, outings (eg going for a coffee) and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a nicely-decorated bright single bedroom, furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table. There is a shared bathroom (bath with shower) and shared use of the well-presented kitchen and sitting room. There is also a lovely garden and an off-street parking space.

The property is conveniently located in Worcester Park, just 10 minutes’ walk from the station (trains to Waterloo) and good transport links to other areas.

The lady enjoys watching TV (especially crim dramas and films), playing simple card games, gardening… and talking; she loves having someone to talk to. She has a large but very soft-natured dog, so a dog-lover is essential.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
