**The room**
* Double bed + brand new mattress

* Open-plan living room & kitchen
* Washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, air fryer, blender

**Who I’m looking for**
I keep the place clean and expect the same. I’m looking for someone tidy, respectful, and proactive, someone who notices what needs doing without being reminded. This isn’t a party house, and I’m not interested in hosting late-night chaos on the regular, but every now and then it's fine:)
I want this to feel like home for both of us. Having friends over occasionally for dinner, movie nights, or similar low-key plans is absolutely fine, as long as it stays respectful and reasonable :)
**About me**
Into music and collecting vinyl house and electronic mostly, travel, the occasional night out at White Hotel (won't bring the party back home don't worry), I enjoy DJing for fun, and getting out for walks, hikes as well as the pub:))
I mostly work from home, and occasionally travel for work, frequency may increase in the upcoming months.
Looking for a flatmate, ideally someone I also get on with.
No students, no couples please.

Message me with a bit about yourself if interested.

**IMPORTANT INFO**
The flat has been listed for sale for about a year now and hasn’t had a single viewing, the market is slow and there is no active sale process (The agency can confirm).
However, with the new Renters Rights Act, if a landlord sells a property, they cannot serve notice until after 8 months from a new tenancy beginning, and that notice period would be four months notice, which in effect, protects any tenant for 12 months in essence, from the start of the new tenancy. So in the event the property is sold, we'd have 4 months notice essentially, which is plenty of time.
I’ve lived here for over 5 years. The agency is responsive, trusts me, and the tenancy has been completely stable.
I’m staying by choice. the rent is genuinely cheap and very hard to beat for this area.
For transparency: some of the tiles in the communal patio are currently lifted. This doesn’t affect the flat or day-to-day living as it is outside our property.
From 1 May 2026, tenancy law changes mean private rentals move to rolling (month-to-month) contracts, offering stronger tenant protections and no fixed end date.
