Double room in Ancoats

After two and a half glorious years together, my current tenant (and friend) has decided it’s time to move in with their partner.

The space -
Furnished double room available in a bright and modern converted mill in Ancoats with sole use of the larger bathroom. I’ve lived in the apartment for almost six years now so it’s very homely whilst being clean and tidy. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might require. The rent includes all bills, a fortnightly cleaner and fast broadband. The room is available from around August 12th with viewings available from July 26th. Parking could be made available at an additional cost.

Me -
I’m Joe, 39 year old, gay, sober, travel agent. I’m exceptionally clean and tidy. I work shifts including 50% of weekends and am usually out of the house for work around 50 hours a week. I’m easy going and appreciate a fairly quiet life. When I’m not working I love to travel as much as possible and enjoy catching up with friends for dinner, drinks or a night a the theatre.

You-
I don’t have any preference on age, gender, or sexuality as long you’re kind and open minded. I’m really hoping to find a housemate that I can forge a good friendship with and want someone to make the apartment a home rather than just renting a room. Definitely open to cooking and socialising together on occasion and going for the odd af pint but also appreciate that sometimes we might want to lock ourselves in our rooms for an evening of quiet time. I’m not looking for someone that is solely WFH although open to the idea of you working from the flat some of the time.

The area-
The apartment is in central Ancoats just a couple minutes walk from both Cutting room square and New Islington marina. Loads of really cool, bars, restaurants and coffee shops all on the doorstep.
