I am looking for a new flatmate as my current flatmate is leaving at the end of this tenancy to move in with their partner. The new tenancy starts around 20 August 2024, however, the new flatmate needs to be found by 19 June 2024. I have lived here for two years, and I really enjoy living here.
THE BUILDING
The building/rent includes the internet, a gym, a cinema room, a co-working space and a rooftop with a room called 'the Hideout'. Residents can book the Hideout for events should they wish.
Staff in the building also organise at least two optional events a month that residents can attend; previous events included brunch on the roof and quizzes.
THE FLAT/ROOM
The flat is part of Anco&Co in the heart of Ancoats. It is one of the bigger apartments in the building with two double bedrooms. One room has an en-suite, the other has a main bathroom. Both rooms come with storage - under the bed - a double wardrobe and drawers.
The shared living space in the flat is fully furnished by Anco&Co, includes King-size beds, a sofa, TV stand and a coffee table.
I have a 55" TV in the living area, and I have another smaller TV in my room. There is a washer/dryer.
ABOUT ME
I am a 36 year old professional working in the city centre. I like going the gym, eating healthy, sociable and enjoy hiking. When funds allow, I like the occasional holiday. I work from home, however, this is mainly in the co-working space.
WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
I am easy going, respectful of personal space and I'm very clean and tidy and looking for the same in a housemate; a professional who is sociable, but someone who does their own thing, is reliable and looks after the apartment by tidying up after themselves. I am a quiet and chilled person, so this is not a party flat. Occasional guests are fine with notice, the flat is a calm and relaxed environment.
RENT
-Rent for the full flat is £1594 (£797 each) paid on the 1st of the month
-Deposit @ £797
-First month's rent and deposit due around second week of August
BILLS
Bills to pay will be Electricity, Water and Council Tax. Around £150 to £200 on top on the rent. The electricity/water cost fluctuates depending on usage.
