the room is spacious, has a large window and is fully furnished. 🪴
about the flat:
- it's a lovely new build on the 12th floor, with a view of the Etihad and the city. the flat is in great shape and has all the required amenities. the photos are a little old, but the flat is well decorated.
- internet is included, and all the bills are shared. Council Tax Band A. bills are about £100 - £130 per person.
- it's a 3 minute walk from the New Islington Marina, and a 15 minute walk to the city centre. it is well connected to the city via bus and tram.
a little about me, and the important stuff:
- i'm Aman (he/him), a 25-year-old researcher working at the University of Manchester. i work hybrid, and go to the office once / twice a week.
- i love to cook, read, go out, attend gigs, have a night in, i like to be out and about in the city every now and then, the usual stuff! i like to have friends over sometimes as well, and i love to host. i'm neurodivergent and quite social but have my down time too. my interests are art, music, media, politics among a few!
- a queer friendly home with a respect for boundaries, communication and a safe space are really important for me. i like to keep communal spaces clean, and like to share all the chores, and am looking for someone with similar values. and of course, i'd prefer to be friends with my roommate rather than just living together! :)
