URGENT! - Spacious Room on New Islington Marina!

!FLATMATE NEEDED URGENTLY!

Large room available in the MCR Life property Cotton Field Wharf on New Islington marina. Right near Ancoats / Northern Quarter / and both Piccadilly and Victoria stations.

I have been living in the building for a little over a year now, and my previous two flatmates recently moved out to live with their partners. My friend Tom recently decided to move in and we found a third person on SpareRoom, however she has bailed at the last minute.

We urgently need someone to join us at least to sign the contract, who can quickly sort out employee/landlord/guarantor (if required) referencing and who is keen to move in very soon, as the lease technically began yesterday.

The contract we would sign is for exactly 7 months, but could be resigned for longer after that.

You would share a bathroom with Tom as I have an ensuite. I pay a bit extra for this (split is like 660/600/600), bills usually come to £140 each all in, and I believe the landlord take the first month payment up front on signing the lease.

The building is obviously in a brilliant location right on the marina, has a 24 hr concierge and free gym. The previous tenant had also left her bed, mattress, desk and bedside table to sell to the person who was supposed to move in for £300 (RRP was like £500) so you are all set in an otherwise unfurnished place. We have started jazzing up the shared spaces too.

A bit about me - I am 25 and work as a Health Economist in the city centre and have been in Manchester a little over a year. Outside of work, I'm really into music (predominantly post-punk guitaryness, but everything jazz/folk/soul/funk/disco/pop) and play guitar myself in a band called Tulpa and previously in a band called Mush. As well as music, I am a massive nerd for all things food, cinema, literature and art. I have a bunch of pals in the city and we spend the majority of our spare time exploring the city and seeking out plenty of gigs and pub trips.

Tom and I met at uni, he is a super chill, lovely guy. He is currently working at a scrap yard but is looking for more work in hospitality in the city. Also passionately into all things music and cinema and having a pint. He is also very active (much more than me), loves a good camping trip and regularly goes climbing.
