Clean & Respectful Flatmate Wanted – Ancoats Room

Hi! My current flatmate is moving out in September, so I’m looking for someone friendly and considerate to take over her room from October.

The flat is about 15 minutes from the city centre and just a 5-minute walk to the nearest Aldi. The room comes with a double bed and a double-door wardrobe, and the bathroom is shared.

I’m a working professional also studying towards my professional qualification. I usually work 9–5 in the office or at client sites, with some days from home. I’m looking for a female working professional who spends most of the week working outside the home.

I’m big on keeping our shared space clean and tidy, especially since we share both the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen countertop is small, so being considerate by washing dishes soon after cooking or eating is important. I also make a point of wiping away any cooking spills and leaving the bathroom fresh for the next person, and I’d appreciate the same from you. For me, it’s all about mutual respect so we can both enjoy a comfortable space.

I enjoy a calm, peaceful home, so I’m not looking for a party household. Occasional visits from one or two friends are fine — maybe once every few months — but all guests should leave by 10 pm. I’m mindful of noise late at night and would appreciate the same in return, as the walls aren’t fully soundproof.

Bills are not included. After splitting, bills and council tax come to around £200 per person each month, which can be less if we’re careful with usage.
