Double bedroom with ensuite

I’ve got a room going in my flat at Lampwick Quay, right on New Islington Marina. The building has a concierge, a residents’ lounge, a small gym and a nice courtyard, so it’s a really easy place to live. It’s a two minute walk to the tram stop and about ten minutes to the Northern Quarter, with loads of great bars, cafes and shops nearby. The area’s really friendly and has a nice mix of quiet spots by the water and the buzz of the city just round the corner.

While the room is unfurnished, there’s the option to take on a bed frame, mattress and other things from the previous tenant if you’d like as they’re moving to Dublin (to follow the Guinness). It’s a good sized double and comes with its own ensuite bathroom with a shower, so you’ll have plenty of privacy. The kitchen comes with white goods (Oven, washing machine and dishwasher, freezer) along with my furniture seen in the pictures

I’m a graphic designer who moved to Manchester 4 years ago. I WFH 2 days a week. I’m easy going, tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and I like to keep the flat feeling calm and comfortable. I’m sociable and always up for a chat, but also happy giving each other space. Outside of work, I’m into trying new food spots, playing sports and finding anywhere that sells a good pint of Guinness.
