Description
I’m Ian, a graphic designer and singer in a blues/Motown band. The flat’s owned by Manchester Life and sits right by Ancoats Marina, surrounded by great coffee spots, bakeries, bars, and canal walks.
It’s a bright, modern 2-bed flat with an open-plan kitchen/living area, two bathrooms (both en-suite), and plenty of space. All the furniture’s mine, but you’ll have to furnish your bedroom.
About me: I’m easy to live with, clean but not obsessive, and love having people round for food or a drink. I enjoy a night out but I’m not unhinged. Ideally looking for someone sociable, tidy, smells good (genuinely underrated), and up for the occasional wine, beer, or Irn-Bru. I’m Scottish and well into music, design, and anything deep fried.
💰 Rent & bills: I’ve never paid more than £850/month (that’s winter), and it’s usually around £800 all-in most months. The rent tends to rise 2-5% when contracts change.
🚗 Parking: Available in the building, though spaces can be limited (around £150/month). There are also nearby parking hubs. Public transport’s decent, and you’re a stone’s throw from Aldi, Sainsbury’s Local, and a massive Asda two tram stops away. I don’t drive, but happy to help.
🏋️ Extras: The building has a small gym with plenty of machines, plus a shared outdoor space and club room for all your raging games nights.
