Hello, I’m an early thirties professional with a spare room looking to find a lodger 👋
This is only on a short term basis while I wait for my house sale to go through in 6-8 weeks, around mid May.
About me and the house share
I’m a laid-back guy with lots of hobbies and interests, and I’m hoping to find someone similar.
I’m often out of the house in the evenings in Manchester going to gigs, club nights, seeing friends, going to comedy nights, etc.
I work as web designer and I split my time between an office and the local Costa and Starbucks during the day.
Although I’m a live-in landlord, I really am not precious about my place and I want my housemate to feel like they can relax and make a mess and have people over or whatever. Ideally you’re an outgoing person who wants to socialise as that’s how I see myself.
I’m a dog lover so if you have one and you’re looking for a place which accepts pets, I’m pretty relaxed about that and would consider it.

Private, off-street parking space as well as lots of on-street parking

It's a double bedroom with a desk, two walk-in wardrobe type things and good storage space. I also have a lot of storage downstairs in a utility room type area.
About the area
This area of Ashton-under-Lyne is really friendly and quite family-oriented, meaning it’s super safe and you can get a great night’s sleep without any noise.
It’s well connected and has good transport links, with Ubers to Manchester costing £12, with the Metrolink giving good access to Manchester city centre (a short walk from Ashton West Metrolink station), as well as being near the M60 for people who need it. It is also close to lots of green space, including a nearby country park.
Location details:
5-10 minute walk to the Metrolink tram stop
Walkable to amenities like Aldi, Sainsbury’s, M&S and IKEA, and Ashton Moss leisure park (cinema, restaurants, etc)
20 minute drive / Uber to Manchester city centre
5 minute drive to the M60 motorway to access the rest of the country
15 minute walk to Daisy Nook country park / nature reserve
