Description
Hello and welcome to your new home!
The house is generous size, with a large kitchen diner and separate living room, plus off-street parking. The double room is fully furnished, with a wardrobe, drawers, bed side table, desk, office chair, plenty of under bed space and cupboard storage.
As you'll be sharing the house with just one other person that means room to chat and be sociable when you feel like it, and also space to find a cosy corner when you're after some quiet time.
The details:
Double room, furnished. Large kitchen / dining room. Main living room. A second living room. Washer/dryer. Dishwasher. Shared bathroom, plus downstairs loo. Garden with patio and a washing line. Garage. Driveway for off street parking.
Local shops, gyms, cafes, takeaways, etc. all nearby. There's a Co-op and a mini Asda less than a ten minute walk away. There's a Lidl nearby and all the other supermarkets are available in Leigh and Walken (or like me you can get it delivered!).
I'm lucky to be in a quiet residential area with friendly neighbours. It's well served by road, being just 2 minutes from the East Lancs road and a short drive to the M60 and M6. Personally I use the buses and the area is really well connected. The very popular V1/V2 buses run from early morning and through the night and get you into Manchester city centre *fast* (30 mins). During the day they run every eight to ten minutes, and get you to Salford University, Manchester City Centre, Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), Manchester Uni and Manchester Met, and Leigh and Atherton. Other buses, such as the 35, 126 and 132, take you to the Trafford Centre (for shopping), RHS Bridgwater (for gardens) Worsley and Monton (bars, restaurants), Leigh, and Wigan.
A bit about me: I'm a 40 year old professional looking to share my spacious home with a new housemate. I'm an early bird, so there won't be a queue for the shower! I like to keep my house clean and tidy and, as someone who has house shared for years, I know how important it is to come back to a welcoming space at the end of a long day.
Bills are included (Gas, electricity, fibre broadband, TV licence, Council tax Band C. The house in non-smoking and pet free.
If this sounds good to you, get in touch and we can arrange a video/phone call and then a viewing.
If you have any questions, no matter how small, feel free to ask! I look forward to hearing from you.
