Hi! I am looking for a flatmate to rent out the second room as after two years living together my current flatmate is moving out as she bought her own place!
The room is furnished with a double bed, two chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a storage drawer in each side of the bed. It’s a decent size and then there’s also the large living room, kitchen, 1 bathroom (shared). The balcony runs the whole width of the flat so there is balcony access from the bedroom :)
The price is £650 (excluding bills). The council tax is £153, the electricity bill varies depending on the season (£75 -£120), the WiFi is £23.
So roughly the bills are £130 each on top of rent.
IMPORTANT: From September 2024, the building is doing cladding works lasting few months, which will restrict access to the balcony. Due to this the landlord has agreed to reduce the rent by £50 for the months we won’t have access to the balcony.
The area is classed as castlefield, it’s about a 5 minute walk from The Wharf area, and just across the footbridge to Salford area (Ordsall lane). Nearest tramstop is Cornbrook which is 5-10 min walk. Nearest big supermarket and gym walking distance is at Regent retail park.
A bit about me, my name is Ludovica, 26 years old, I’m originally from Italy, I’m full time employed and help run a basketball club so I’m often really busy. I like anything to do with art and I am very chilled. I like cooking and hosting Italian dinners once in a while. I am known for my great coffee which is a perk of living with me! I am very sociable but I also like to have my own space. I am very respectful of spaces and always clean after myself.
Ideally I’m looking for young professionals females who are respectful of other cultures, laidback and tidy. Nevertheless young male professionals can reach out but tidiness and being clean is a must as it’s a shared bathroom :)

They cannot have any bad credit with no history of CCJs or IVAs or bankruptcy, and they must have the right to rent in England.
They will need to be able to prove income via an employer reference generally being able to support this with payslips.
