Hey, I’m looking for a flatmate to take over my current flatmate’s tenancy and move in sometime between now and the end of April.
The apartment is fully furnished with a balcony and en-suite bathrooms on the 11th floor of Vox, which is in an ideal location with great access into and out of the city. The building has a nice rooftop lounge, workspace, terrace, track, gym and studio as well as a secure post room. Vox also offers a 24-hour concierge, a residents’ services team, security, free hot drinks, and regular community activities.
The rent is £770 per month, although the superfast broadband add-on brings it to £787.5. The council tax band is D, making your total bills on average £165 a month, depending on the season.
Per the lettings team, to pass referencing for the tenancy, the incoming tenant will be required to meet affordability of 36 x their share of the monthly rent, which in this instance would be £27,720.
If not the incoming tenant will be required to have a UK guarantor who will need to meed affordability of 4.2 x the annual rent for their share. In this instance this would be 770 × 12 × 4.2 = £38,808.
