Hi, I'm Tiffani! My current flatmate and friend for over a year now is moving in with her partner, and while I'm sad to lose her, I'm so happy for them!
About me:
I'm 28 years old, and I work full-time as a Bid Writer for a STEM company. I'd love to find a flatmate that I can be friends with again. If you like we could go to events in town, or have an evening in with good food and a good laugh. I also do a lot on my own like go for walks with a bubble tea in hand, shopping, or the cinema.
In my downtime, I'm usually relaxing with a nice series or sometimes I'll have a book, my laptop, or sketchbook out. At home I'm quite chill, I take care of my plants, listen to funny podcasts or find new recipes.
I'm looking for a flatmate that's also tidy, responsible, and respectful. I've been living in this flat since last March, and I love it, I'm hoping that you will too!
Flat features:
The flat is on one of the higher floors, its modern, and only a short walk to the City Centre.
Double Bedroom - has a double bed, complete with wardrobe, bedside tables, and features a floor to ceiling window. There is space for a desk, the tenant before us had one in there.
Bathroom - this is a large bathroom with shower, tub, and great counter space. I have my own bathroom, and I must say the water pressure is great!
Living Room - it's open plan, it feels spacious enough for us to use and even add stands for our plants and other bits of furniture.
Kitchen - Built in fridge, oven, electric hob, extractor hood, and dishwasher. Plenty of cupboard space too!
Hall Cupboard (Boiler & washing machine) - This is where we store some cleaning supplies & shopping bags. The boiler has a timer function, so there's always hot water when you're likely to need it.
Balcony - it's a full balcony, and I've even got some balcony furniture we can put out in spring!
Heating - The flat has electric heaters with a timer switch in the cupboard to control them centrally, but each has their own on/off for efficiency.
Building - we have a 24hr concierge who can collect your packages. There's a separate, secure mail room complete with locked mailboxes for each flat.
Parking - there is an underground parking space alloted for our flat, it's a good one. It's fob entry for more security.
Neighbours - we don't really hear them, sometimes there is a door shutting. But no loud music, or other excessive noise. When you do see them they are pleasant!
Bills (this is the total so far):
Water - £40 pm
we pay extra if needed for the bill
Electric - £120 pm
So far it's about £145 pm in Winter, we expect it to lower when it gets warmer
Council Tax - Band C, £153 pm
Internet - £35
This cost doesn't vary, great service. I'm getting in touch with them to ensure we keep this same price.
What else can I say?
- The flat has also got a ventilation system to help keep the air in fresh.
- The windows also cancel noise, so we don't hear much from outside.
- Heating is electric, but being on this floor we do get heat from the flats below. I often come home from work and the living room isn't too chilly.
- It's a short walk to Deansgate station and a the retail park with a large Sainsbury's
Letting details:
- The agent is Savills. So far they've been efficient, we haven't really had any issues.
- I have asked if they can confirm if there will be any rent increase coming.
- 24 hr line for repairs/support
