Double room, ground floor flat in castlefield

Hey! My current flatmate is moving out at the end of April and I am looking for a professional male, ideally between 24-30 years old to move in from 1st May 2026.

Im big on consideration and cleanliness, as you can see from the photos I like to keep spaces tidy. I value a respectful living environment and take pride in maintaining a clean, organised space. I’m past partying and drinking and have grown to appreciate relaxed weekends, so someone who’s on a similar page would be a good fit.

The room is a fully furnished, double bedroom in a ground floor castlefield flat overlooking the canal. You will also have the master bathroom as I have an en-suit.

The rent is £577.50 each a month and bills (WiFi, water, electricity and council tax) come to around £210 a month, depending on water and electricity usage. The electricity is a little higher than usual at the moment because of the winter months. There is a deposit of £605.50 to be paid on the day you move in.

A little bit about me, I am 28 years old, a full time software engineer and originally from the North East. I work from home 3 to 4 days a week so will be in the flat most of the time.

I enjoy going to the gym and taking hikes, I like being outdoors and socialising but also enjoy sitting on the sofa and playing video games. I am a bit of a nerd so I love anything tech related, sci-fi, fantasy etc.

I am gay too, so I would like my future flatmate to be accepting of me and the LGBT community.
