Double room available at the lovely Pomona Wharf!
The room: south facing double room with ample storage and own bathroom (not en suite but just across corridor).
The flat: west facing two- bed flat on fourth floor , with lovely balcony overlooking Bridgwater canal. Shared living room and kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer included.
Council tax band: Band B (Trafford)
Bills on average: £100-110 total
The area: 8-minute walk to Cornbrook tram stop, small co-op less than 5 minutes walk, big Sainsbury’s 10 minute walk. Quiet area, some noise from the tram and local scrap yard during the day. Feels very safe , particularly at night. Can walk into town via canal in under 30 minutes.
Parking : parking is available at the property , secured or unsecured at £100pcm
Current situation: I moved here two months ago with my current flatmate who is now sadly going travelling to New Zealand. We have lived together for almost two years now, previously at a flat just up the road.
About me: I work full-time in an office job, usually working from home 1-2 days per week. I have a WFH set-up in my room. I’m an active and sociable person, I gym regularly , play for a hockey club in Chorlton and like to go out to eat or host the occasional dinner party with friends.
On the weekends, I’m usually playing hockey but also love a good day out in the peaks hiking in all weathers.
I’m a very tidy and respectful person and like to keep the flat clean so it’s a calm , relaxing space to come back to after a long day. Ideally looking for someone equally as tidy!
