Double room available in a quiet detached house in Chadderton in a lovely area with Chadderton Park nearby and easy access to motorway, bus and train networks.

The home is ideal for someone that wants quiet space and a home where they can relax and be in their own time. It is not a party home and plenty of light in the conservatory to use for a place of peace. Although the pictures do not currently show it, the house is furnished - sofa, dining table, chairs, double bed, cupboards, white goods, etc.

There is a shopping precinct about a mile away with an Asda, Post Office and shops; there is also a corner shop at the entrance to the estate. There are bus routes to take one into town or Manchester). There is also the Mills Hill train station about a 20min walk away which has routes to Manchester Victoria and Rochdale.

I am getting too many enquiries so when you get in touch, please provide some background about yourself and ideally a picture to give yourself the best chance of a response back. I would be a live-in landlord, often away for work, and I care about who I will be offering the room to and living with. The benefit to you of taking a room is that it will feel like you have an entire house to yourself as I am often at my parents house (one road away/a few mins away) or working in London. I will feel comfortable with a housemate who I feel is responsible, respectful and clean.

Viewings during the month of January will give you a chance to to meet and discuss with the current housemate about the local area, neighbours and about myself/my conduct.

Note, the advert seems to be showing £0 deposit. This is not correct. I'll be requesting a 12 week deposit up-front which is refundable on departure (assuming there is no damage to the property).

The house is in Band D for council tax. We would split this 50-50.
