Description
I am sadly moving out to live with my sister
So firstly - Water - Basically the pipes are screwed so when the restaurant under us is open, we barely get any water and sometimes literally nothing comes out (of any taps). The landlord said we can all pay £200 a month untill its fixed and is 'trying' to sort it. But bless him he is a tad useless and it looks like its not a quick fix. This means showering is generally only fully working in the mornings/ very late.
Personally I have learnt to live with it and bought a gym membership so I shower there. And hey, now I am fitter too so that's a silver lining right there.
The flat is above the row of bars and restaurants on Barlow Moor Road including strange brew, man bites frog and double zero pizza which is awesome but forces allot of willpower not to pop down ever night!
Also the bus stop is literally outside the front door which is great for getting back for the centre safely/cheaply at night. The living room and kitchen is really spacious for any furniture/books/guitars etc you might have.
There is a lower corridor where you can safely keep a bike.
The room comes with drawers, wardrobe, bed and mattresses. There's free of parking on the road behind ours and I've left mine there this year with no trouble. Tram is a 5 min walk from the flat as well as chorlton centre and morrisons :). Also live directly opposite a co-op.
I really love this flat but it is a bit run down atm, the carpets and sofas etc are pretty old school, the shower is naff and it is not unheard of for cupboard doors to fall off!. But I think it can also be a really lovely home, (and is dirt cheap!) so if your good a decorating or resealing baths, great :P.
I have lived in Manchester for about a year and a half.
I have quite a few hobbies such as roller skating, aerial circus, climbing. I just generally like trying new things and occasionally partying past the allowance of my wage. I am pretty laid back but want people who are considerate and tidy and friendly .
The bills are about £80each a month on top for Internet, electric ,council tax etc. rent to be paid from 1st July.
I'd say this flat is perfect for friendly, relaxed people who dont mind trading in modern swanky luxuries (like hot water) in order to live cheaply in a great location with a great vibe.
If you want to come have a look just text /message me with a bit about yourself (that sounds cheesy I know sorry but I've had allot of messages already) and you can come look for yourself before I surely loose my mind from a sad empty flat.
Happy hunting!
