Cosy room in professional household

Hi there's a room in a 4-bed house share up for grabs, read on if you're interested...

We live in a semi-detached 4 bedroom house on the border in Chorlton, not far from Longford Park. The small road we are on is very quiet, mostly families and you can't hear any traffic outside. It's 15 minutes walk to either Chorlton/Stretford tram stops and a 10 minute drive to the M60 for quick access to the highways. It's about a 10 minute walk to the Chorlton high street.

A bit about the house:

- The room available is on the ground floor at the front of the house.
- Double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and side tables provided. Spacious and room for more furniture if needed.
- Large kitchen with 2 fridges, dishwasher, washing machine and double oven.
- Dining table in the kitchen perfect for group meals.
- Good sized living room with double sofas, TV with Netflix etc.
- Roomy garden with grassy area.
- There's a large bathroom to share between 3 (one room is an ensuite), and there's also a small toilet under the stairs.
- Virgin internet, good speeds

A bit about each housemate:

Dan is new to Manchester in 2022, originally from the West Midlands. He's moved here for a job in science-focused innovation for the meat-free sector. Already he's been spending a lot of time discovering new places to eat, drink and be cultured in the city and has a real passion for sharing with this others. You'll usually find him in the kitchen.

Mike is from Galway (Ireland) and moved to Manchester in 2017. He's currently doing a PhD in mechanical engineering. He's well known for his iconic mullet, raucous laugh and random history trivia. You'll usually find him hiking, at a live gig or at Hough End playing gaelic football.

Fede moved into the house about 2 months ago, she's originally from the beautiful island of Sardinia. A freelancer in the arts, she is a creative person and enjoys to act, sing, take photos and write music. You'll usually find Fede meeting other creatives and networking.

Ideal housemate:

We're looking for a friendly sociable person who enjoys spending time together now and then. Be that out for pints, dinner, playing board games or some other type of activity. While we do enjoy spending time with each other, we also do respect each other's space. The house is a peaceful place though if you want somewhere to just sit back and relax.

The boring stuff:

Bills are shared between the four housemates, averaging about £150pcm each. There's no minimum or maximum term stay, we would prefer at least six months though. Room is available middle of October, available for viewings through October.
