Description
Our current housemate will be leaving at the end of November will be sadly missed. However, she leaves behind her spacious attic room in this lovely 4 bedroom house in Chorlton, available to a new tenant who we all look forward to meeting!
The house has a garden and patio, two bathrooms (toilet and shower in one, toilet and bath/shower in the other), living room with a TV, kitchen (large fridge/freezer plus an extra half size fridge/freezer), 4 bedrooms plus a 5th spare bedroom for visitors to stay over. All facilities are shared between housemates. The house is a 7 minute walk from both Chorlton and St Werburgh's Road tram stops. Equally close by foot are central Chorlton's cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. There is also a Costcutter two doors down for ultimate convenience needs. Parking available on the street.
The attic room itself has a double bed and mattress, wardrobe, side table, study table with desk lamp, and a floor lamp, and is situated on the top floor on its own next to the spare room. The photos don't do it justice- it is quite spacious!
We are all working professionals. Bhuvan works remotely from home for a start-up focused on bringing more diversity to health care research. Chris works for mortgage brokers in Urmston. Matt is a careworker.
We enjoy hanging out and watching series/films together, making cocktails, listening to some tunes and playing board games, eating out, gardening, growing herbs, vegetables and mushrooms. Bhuvan likes cooking Indian food and watching series. Chris loves watching football, listening to music, and exploring outdoors. Matt is into yoga and pilates, making music on his computer and going to gigs/festivals. We like to keep a tidy house and hope our new housemate to do the same.
The rent is £468 per month per person. Water, electric, gas, broadband and council tax (band C) come to around £120-£135 per month per person.
Landlord requires proof of employment, payslips, and references from 1-2 previous landlords.
