Description
Hello!
I’ve got a spacious room becoming available at the end of November as my current flatmate is moving back home. We moved in together as we've been friends for years, so I'd like to keep that level of sociability up with someone who is easy to get on with when out and about, or staying in. I'd love to keep things lively and friendly - the place is too small to just pass each other in the hallway.
The flat is a beauty and comes (mostly) furnished with my things already. The lounge and kitchen will stay pretty much as seen in the photos, but my flatmate will be taking most of the things out of his room back home with him (also his desk out the lounge) - but fortunately for you, it has a huge built-in wardrobe that he can't take with him.
I WFH whilst also going out to deliver workshops so my week will be different depending on how busy I am. I'm very laidback and have friends around the North West that I see regularly for activities, gigs, drinks etc. and you'd always be welcome to come along too.
I'll let you take a look at the photos with regards to the room itself. There’s a shared living room, kitchen, and terrace (accessible through my bedroom, but you're more than welcome to use it whenever) - perfect for BBQs or a morning coffee when the weather’s decent. My bedroom has an en-suite, so the bathroom in the photos is yours exclusively.
There's also secure off-road parking behind the property which is first come, first serve. I've never had an issue getting a spot for my car.
I take pride in keeping the place clean and tidy but not obsessively so; it’s more about mutual respect and making the house feel like home - I more than welcome you calling me out if i've left dishes in the sink or my laptop on the floor.
Ideally, I'm after someone easygoing, considerate, and sociable - someone who enjoys a chat and a laugh but also appreciates a bit of downtime.
If that sounds like your kind of setup, drop me a message with a bit about yourself. I’d love to meet you and show you around! Also happy to take any questions about me, the flat, or Chorlton if you don't already know how amazing it is.
Rent & Bills - We usually put £850 - £900 a month into a joint account and have some leftover to roll into the next month.

Cheers,
Dave
