We have 2 lovely rooms to rent in a female-only house (not our decision - our landlord thinks girls are tidier!!)
The rooms form part of a 5 bedroom house set in the leafy suburb of Chorlton. The house is on a lovely quiet residential road.
We have a large double room in the ground floor of the house. Furniture-wise- the room comes with a bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinet and a chest of drawers. Please note, the furniture is all matching (same colour as the wardrobe pictured).
We also have a small double room on the 1st floor which includes the bed, wardrobe and drawers as seen on the photos. This room is at a lower rate of £230 due to the smaller size.
What we are looking for........
There are currently 3 friendly house mates living in the property and are looking for a fifth to join us. We are young working professionals between the ages of 26-30 who all have 9-5 type jobs, so are looking for a similar housemate. We have Zoe (26) who works in Communications for the Vegetarian Society: Lizzy (30) who works in Marketing, Emma (30) who works in insurance. As a house we are quite social and try to arrange house nights out, dinners etc when we can.
The house;
It is a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi-detached house. It has a lovely kitchen with plenty of storage and fridge/freezer space. The kitchen is a social place and we all enjoy cooking and usually catch up there after work while having tea. The large communal living room is cosy and friendly and has a TV with Freeview, Netflix and NowTV.
The garden;
We definitely think this is one of the best features. It is a spacious garden surrounded by mature trees, which ensures privacy from all aspects. We enjoy having BBQ's as a house and with friends. It is south facing and is a suntrap in the afternoons, so ideal for relaxing in the sun after a long week at work.
Transport;
The house has excellent transport links. It is a 2 minute walk from St Werburghs Rd Metrolink stop with trams to the city, Didsbury and the airport every few minutes and it is also close to numerous bus routes.
The boring bit;
The large room is £290 a month, the small room is £230, with bills on top. Bills are £90 per month inclusive of fibre optic broadband, gas, electric, water and council tax.
The minimum term is 6 months and after that it becomes a month by month rolling contract. The deposit is one month’s rent in advance and you'd be welcome to move in any time from 1st July
