2 Rooms available in friendly Chorlton houseshare

Important note about rent: The cost outlined is based on 4 people living in the house, although we’re advertising for 5. The reason is that the landlord needs to apply for a renewed HMO once we’ve agreed tenants. Whilst this is likely to be pretty straightforward we want to advertise at the cost it would be if we can’t get that approved, if we do then the rent between 5 will work out at £531 per person. Deposit will also be dependent on the amount of tenants, but I’ve just put in at around a months rent.

We’re looking for 2 housemates to join us in our house share on the edge of Chorlton. We’re based just off Nell lane, so Chorlton centre and Burton road Didsbury are both within walking distance, with quick access to Barlow Moor and St Werburgh’s tram stops for getting into town.

You’ll be living with Danny (32), Ross (27) and Emmy (27). We’re all a really social group and spend a lot of our nights either chilling in the living room, cooking, or going to the pub. We’d be looking to have people move in that want to socialise with us and join in the fun, but obviously everyone’s entitled to their own space too. We all work general 9-5s, with hybrid working between the office and home.

We have two rooms available, a medium sized room on the ground floor, and a smaller room on the top floor, however the smaller room does come with a built in wardrobe. The pick of the rooms will be given to whoever signs up first.

The house comes as unfurnished, but all the shared rooms are pretty much furnished so you’d only really need to provide furniture for your own room.

We also have 2 cats that live with us, Blue and Brie. They both absolutely love being fussed so we’d be looking to live with people who like living with cats, and understand there’ll be the odd 2am zoomies session. You’ll also need to tell them how big their stretch they just did was, and tell Blue how round he is.
