Part-furnished double room in Chorlton

Partly-furnished double room available in our 3 bed house in Chorlton. Sharing with Miki (chef) and Harriet (working in Environmental Science) and Toby is moving out.

The room available comes partly-furnished with one large chest of draws and a wardrobe. It has space for a double bed plus space for a desk if needed for working from home.

Bills are not included but come to around £100-130 per month each. Given the recent hike in costs we try to be sensible with gas and electricity to keep these as low as possible. We are council tax band A. Deposit, proof of income, and references required by our letting agent. They don't allow students sorry, mature students may be considered but the letting agent has the final say on that.

The house has a spacious lounge, modern kitchen, bathroom and a downstairs loo. Plus a utility room, garden, and garage for bike storage.

There is a very small driveway, but on street parking along the road outside the house. We are close to a lot of green spaces and just a few minutes from the tram, buses, and a short walk to the centre of Chorlton and Beech road.

We both enjoy the outdoors, walking, cycling, climbing, and gardening (we share an allotment down the road). Occasionally like to have friends round for dinner but we are not really party animals, like to keep the house peaceful and tidy.

Looking for someone who is laid back, clean and tidy, friendly and sociable, but expect to give each other space and do our own thing.
