Spare Room Available House – £550/Month (Bills Not Included)

We have a double bedroom available (current housemate is moving in with his girlfriend) in our cozy house, ideal for a professional looking for a comfortable place to call home. The room is spacious enough for a double bed, plus room for a desk if you work from home. It comes furnished with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, shelves, and a bed frame (but no mattress, so you'll need to bring your own).

The House:

The house is furnished, with shared living spaces (kitchen, living room, etc.) fully equipped and comfy.

The bathroom is shared with one other person (the top room has its own en-suite).

We have a 2-car driveway with additional free on-road parking, so no worries about parking.

Bills:

Bills typically come to about £120-£140 each per month on top of the rent depending on the time of year.

Council Tax Band D (included in the bills figure above)

Current Housemates:

We’re a 25 year old Project Engineer (Simon) and a 24 year old student/delivery driver (Lewis). We get along well, enjoy a mix of activities like walking, gym, grabbing drinks at the pub, watching sports, and just having a chill night in watching a film or series. We both cycle and Simon plays hockey.

Looking For:

A professional, ideally around our age, who works a 9-5 (roughly). We’d like someone whose schedule aligns with ours.

We like to keep the house clean and tidy, so we’re looking for someone who is also good with housekeeping and respectful of shared spaces.

If you smoke, that’s cool, but just not in the house.

We also don’t want anyone who smokes weed.

Location:

5-minute walk to Barlow Moor tram stop.

Only a short walk to Chorlton Park (5 mins), Beech Road (15 mins), and Burton Road (15 mins) for local cafes, pubs, and shops.
