Description
Hello there! We’re looking for two new housemates to join our lovely four-bed house share in Chorlton.
Please note: one room is available on a permanent basis, while the other is available from the 16th of November to the 28th of February.
Permanent Room: A very spacious room with an ensuite bathroom and shower. The room is fully furnished, apart from the desk, chair, and a couple of other bits — this will be explained during the viewing.
Price: £470 per month.
Pictures: 5,6
Short-term Room: Also very spacious, overlooking the back garden. It’s fully furnished except for the desk and chair.
Price: £470 per month.
Pictures: 2,3,4
The house itself is generously sized and located just a few minutes from Longford Park. The kitchen is much bigger than the photos suggest and comes with a very handy dishwasher.
Our living room has two sofas, plenty of space to store bikes and dry clothes, and a wall-mounted TV, perfect for cosy movie nights. We also have an impressive collection of board games! The living room opens onto the garden, which is great for having friends round and really comes into its own in the summertime.
We’re a sociable house with a friendly vibe, and we’d love to keep that going. We enjoy spontaneous pints, strolls in the Peaks, and chilled nights watching TV. We’re both young professionals, so we’re looking for future housemates who are also respectful and considerate of each other.
Just a little bit about ourselves:
George, 28, is an ornithologist (for his Sins), a job which has taken him to many interesting far flown locations, and which makes him a great asset on our hikes. He loves being outdoors and hanging out with pals.
Lucy, 27, Lucy has recently move to Manchester from NZ. She’s settling into the new and more rainy lifestyle but still keen to go out whether it be a pint, a gig, or a charity shop hop.
The reason one room is only available for short-term rent is that our lovely housemate Helen is travelling and will be returning to Manchester in March.
The rent figure doesn't include bills (typically around £100-120 per month). Council tax band C. Our landlord very decent and quick to fix things. Plenty of parking on our street as well.
If you’re interested, please get in touch and let us know whether you’re enquiring about the permanent or short-term room.
We'll aim to do viewings from the 27th of October.
We look forward to hearing from you! Feel free to message if you’ve got any questions.
Cheers Lucy & George.
