Room in 2-bed Chorlton flat with own bathroom

I’m Elle and I’m looking for a new roommate to come and join me in a lovely 2-bed flat in Chorlton! My current flatmate Emma is sadly moving for a new job, so I’m looking for someone to replace her from early October but could be flexible on the move-in date. Love living in the flat/area, so looking for someone to continue on with me.

The flat is a pretty spacious 2-bed, 2-bathroom in a gorgeous Victorian building with stained glass windows. I have ensuite in my room so you'd have the entire second bathroom (which has a bath) to yourself! It’s a two minute walk from Chorlton tram stop and all the great bars, restaurants and shops Chorlton has to offer. The Creameries is just on our doorstep, so we don’t have to walk very far for a nice drink! The flat is already well furnished but would love a housemate who also takes a lot of pride in their living space and would like to bring their own flare to it.

As a housemate, I’m looking for a friend rather than just passing ships. I’m friendly and enjoy a fun sociable house where we can chill in the eve or go for a drink etc and also like to keep a clean kitchen too. I like to keep busy in the week, be that sports, salsa, going for drinks/dinner with friends or going out to a gig/for dance. I also love hosting dinner parties and would be up for doing that together. I’m doing my PhD full-time and like to go into the office a few days a week but also occasionally work from home and have a desk in my room. Days per week depends on whether I’m teaching but normally around 3 days/week. And because I'm technically a student, we get a 25% council tax discount! (Band B)

I’m currently fostering two very friendly and low maintenance kittens and hoping to adopt them if the landlord says yes. They’re 100% my responsibility so you’d be able to reap all the benefits of having them around without any of the hard work!
