Looking for friendly and social housemate

Two girls looking for a new housemate because our current ones are either going travelling and moving in with their boyfriend (yay for them but boo for us 💔)

A bit about the house:

The house is just off of Burton Road with great access to pubs, restaurants, shops and parks. It’s got on street parking and is mere seconds from a tram stop (which gets you into town in 30 mins or less). We’ve got a shared lounge/kitchen living space that’s big enough for 4 and access to a garden.

We have two rooms available (they are separate ads). This available room is on the ground floor. It has loads of natural light and plenty of floor space, including space for a desk. The road feels very safe and the girl currently in there says it’s not loud when the lounge door is closed (we know this can be a worry for some) - although we’d love for you to be involved in the day debriefs too!

A little bit about us:

We are a teacher who has just moved back to the Manchester area after going to uni here but living in Watford for the last few years and an Organisational psychologist who has lived in the Didsbury area for about 4 years.

We are both social girls who love a pun or two. We like to keep active with running, yoga, swimming and the gym but are also partial to a glass of wine or a pint or two after a long day at work.

We both enjoy cooking shared meals and watching a good documentary/ movie marathon but also respect each others space.

We have our own friends outside of the house but do regularly hang out at the weekends. When we do it often involves a hike and a pub lunch, a girly day with a painting class or a cocktail or a movie marathon.

We're looking for someone who is social and wants to be a friend and housemate , rather than just rent a room.
