Description

*I’ve received so many enquiries - I am trying to respond to as many as possible, please be patient & include a little about yourself as it won’t be possible to arrange viewings for everyone*

I have a large double bedroom to rent as of mid January (around the 13th), it is in a 3 bedroom home next to Fog Lane park, though only sharing with me, leaving a spare for friends and family to use.
I’ve lived here for over 5 years and love the location, I rent via an agency, but they are super responsive and the landlord is absolutely lovely. The lease is currently entirely in my name.
The room for rent is the master/largest though the rent will be split equally with bills on top - which are roughly £195p/m for everything - these gas/electric are fixed until August - so no dreaded extra energy bills. The room comes partially furnished, though there is plenty of room for your own wardrobes/drawers/etc. the house is fully furnished, and has all kitchenware etc. The spare room is furnished with a double bed & clothes rack with space for laundry to air without taking space elsewhere!
The house is 5 minutes from the train station (which gets you to Piccadilly in under 15 minutes), about 15 minutes walk to the village/tram and easy walk to Burton Road, there is on street parking, and is tucked into the back of a cul de sac - so lovely and quiet/peaceful.
I work in the drinks trade, usually Monday - Friday 9-5, though the occasional event at weekends. I’m clean and tidy and like the house to be the same.
Mid-week I tend to be pretty quiet & chilled, with perhaps dinner and a couple glasses of wine. Weekends I try to be out & about/usually away a few weekends a month. I’m a huge fan of brunching and going out for a wander at the weekend.
I’m super independent but more than happy to have a wine over a nice dinner/catch a movie. I would like to live with someone that I could be friends with and have a chat too instead of silently passing. The house is definitely more of a home than a party place, though people always welcome for dinner/drinks.
I also have a little french bulldog called Richard who would be the second housemate. He’s 4, so he does like a hug and fuss & does get excited when people arrive home - but aside from that he mostly sleeps.

If you would like more pictures or want any more info then please just drop me a message - happy to go for a drink/wander after a viewing to make sure we get on!

Thanks,
Gemma
