Description
Double room available in bright and airy flat on the East Didsbury/Burnage border.
First floor apartment situated on Fog Lane opposite Burnage train station - you can be in the city centre in 10 minutes or at the airport in 15 mins. 15 min walk to Didsbury village, 25 min walk to Burton Rd, 5 min walk to local Aldi and Tesco.
The room is furnished with an ottoman (storage) bed, clothes rail, chest of drawers (not shown in photos but it is a decent size), desk and bedside table. Worth noting there's not a huge amount of storage space in the room bar under the bed.
Although the main bathroom is communal, I have an en-suite so you would mostly have this to yourself.
*MUST BE A DOG LOVER - you will be living with me and my clumsy, daft & cuddly companion. She is a 1 year old rescue from Ukraine and is my shadow. Obviously you would have no responsibility for her but she would love someone who can show her some love!
Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need so no need for utensils unless you want to bring them.
Communal garden.
All bills included.
About me...
I am 30 years old and have had my flat for 6 years. I've had lots of people stay here, from long term tenants to airbnb guests (I was a host for 6 months). I have always let out the second room when living here and have lived in multiple house shares myself (even since owning my own) so am fairly laid back and easy going as a house mate.
I am looking for a housemate who can be a friend and wants to hang out, occasionally have dinner together and up for watching a bit of MAFS (or other trash) together!
I have recently been renovating the flat and like to keep it clean and tidy, so would be looking for someone who would do the same.
I am an animal talent agent (yes that's a real thing) and a yoga teacher. I work from home 4 days a week and am in uni on Mondays where I'm studying an MSc in Psychotherapy.
I am a long time vegetarian and ideally would like to rent to someone who doesn't eat meat for practical reasons but it's more important to me to have someone in who is sound rather than someone who has the same diet so this isn't a huge deal breaker. However meat eaters would be great if you have your own pots and pans !
I love travel, Crossfit, live music, festivals, animals, being silly with friends, being out in nature, playing the piano (with headphones), crocheting, making nice food.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
