Hey! I’m reluctantly moving out because my company is forcing us back into the office 5 days a week, so my room in this lovely house is up for grabs.

The Location (Maywood Ave, East Didsbury)
The location is honestly one of the best bits about the house. We’re on Maywood Avenue, which is a quiet, lovely street but close to everything:

- The Outdoors: We are just a stone's throw from Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens, and only a 4-minute walk/jog down to the River Mersey if you like running or walking along the trails.

- Transport: It’s super well-connected. You’re just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest bus stop, and East Didsbury train/Metrolink station is close by for getting into the city center.

The House & The Room
It’s a spacious 4-bedroom house with a great garden (perfect for summer chilling) and a garage for extra storage—which also houses the tumble dryer, so no damp clothes hanging all over the radiators in winter!

- The bathroom situation is actually great and doesn't get crowded:

One housemate has an ensuite.

There is a downstairs toilet/bathroom, that's Stu's.

You’ll only be sharing the main shower (which is in its own separate room) with the two guys, and sharing a toilet (Upstairs) with just one of them.

The Housemates
You’ll be living with Josh, Stu, and Lauren. Everyone works full-time, is incredibly friendly, and very calm. This is a quiet, respectful home where people can unwind after a long day at work—so if you’re looking for a party house, this probably isn't the one for you. We all get on really well and are looking for someone with a similar chilled-out mindset.

Bills & Admin
Wifi and all bills usually come to around £120 a month.

We use Splitwise to track and sort all the house expenses/bills so it's totally transparent.

For rent, one designated housemate collects it all and pays the landlord in one go.

The Contract & Landlord
Our landlord is a solicitor, so everything is done properly and by the book. He’s very fair and won’t just randomy put the rent up within a reasonable period. When you join, we will all head down to the landlord’s office together to sit down, go through the contract, and sign it properly, so everyone is on the same page.

Our Non-Negotiables
We’re a relaxed group, but we keep the house running smoothly by being adults about the boring stuff. We need someone who matches this energy:

Cleanliness: You must be willing to pull your weight with a cleaning rota for the communal areas and help take the bins out.

Bills: Bills need to be paid promptly. We all know when the bill date is, so we expect you to set a reminder and transfer the money within 24 hours of being asked. No chasing required!
