Spacious room in suburban house (bills included!)

Hi there,

My previous housemate has just moved in with her other half and so I'm looking for a new housemate!

The room being offered is spacious and furnished, with a double bed, a chest of drawers, a bookcase and plenty of natural light.

The living room, bathroom and kitchen are all recently redecorated. Other amenities include TV, Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, along with a paved garden next to the kitchen. We also have free on-street parking.

Within 5 minutes walk of the house are 3 supermarkets (Aldi literally over the road!), a petrol station, pharmacy and post office, along with plenty of green spaces in the area.

We also have quick access to the M60 motorway and Manchester city centre is approximately 15 minutes drive. Using public transport, the city centre is about 25 minutes away. There is also a bus stop over the road and a tram stop within 5 minutes walk.

About me, I'm a secondary teacher of RE and languages, so spend Monday to Friday out the house during the day. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, pub quizzes, dog walks, gym, writing, learning languages, travelling (when I can), but I also enjoy a lazy evening watching TV or a film etc.

My dog, Cleopatra, is a very loving 4-year-old Staffy American Bulldog mix. She sleeps in my bedroom with me, but spends most of the day relaxing in the kitchen or the living room.

I’d really like to live with someone who is friendly and considerate. I'd like us to get on, as this is obviously important when living together and I'd want this house to feel as much of a home to you as it does for me.
