Double Room close to Alex Park.

Looking for a housemate to join our house share in South Manchester, ideally from 1st Feb.

Bit about us:
I'm a part-time master's student (urban planning), alongside which I work at Unicorn Grocery in Chorlton. My housemate also works full-time at Unicorn! We're both very relaxed, and try to keep things relatively tidy. We’re a veggie/vegan household and would ideally like to keep it that way. We equally enjoy our own space and socialising. I do spend some time at my partner’s in town and am generally pretty busy/chaotic so am in and out a lot.

The room:
Double corner room with south-west facing windows. I'm going to repaint over the next week or so as the walls are looking a bit sad. Comes with a double bed, a decent mattress, chest of drawers and clothes rail, as well as a bit of built-in storage.

The house:
There's two bathrooms, both with a shower.
Big kitchen with underfloor heating, washer/dryer, and a gas hob. We’re happy without a toaster or microwave, but there’s space for both of these should that be an issue for you. Currently lacking a kitchen table but sorting that ASAP. Living room is a good size with an electric fireplace and a Rothko. Massive garden with lots of space to grow veg/plants if that's your thing. Garage has a lot of junk in it but plenty of space for a bike if you have one. Substantial driveway for a car. We also have another upstairs room that we’ve been using as a quasi-studio space/guest room/airing cupboard. Would be suitable as a home office too.

The house is a little shabby, but the rent is cheap. It's a super fast cycle into town, otherwise there’s buses a few minutes walk away (101, 103). 5 minute walk from Aldi and some other local shops. Right next to Alex park too.

Our old housemate (very rudely) took their cat with them, as such cats are very much welcome, encouraged even.
