Description

I am a female live-in landlord and own a three-bed, duplex apartment in Castlefield. Although I currently share the flat with two other girls, one of them is moving into her own place mid-March. This means that the third room will be available to rent to another professional female from the end of March/beginning of April.

The apartment is located within 5 minutes walk from the local pub, The Wharf, and restaurants and bars including Dukes, Alberts Shed and Barca. Deansgate/Castlefield tram stop and Deansgate train station are also conveniently located about 8 minutes walk away, with Oxford street station roughly 15 minutes walk. More bars and restaurants are situated at Deansgate Locks near the tram stop before you get to the centre of town.

The room for rent is a double-sized room, fully furnished with double bed, fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet. You would be sharing the main bathroom with the other female flatmate who currently lives in the flat :)

You would also be sharing communal spaces including an open-plan kitchen and living room upstairs and two balconies with great views overlooking the Manchester skyline. Within the kitchen there is a shared fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. The bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs in the flat, with a spacious utility room containing separate washing machine and tumble dryer.

Please note that bills are not included in the monthly rental charge and are extra each month but shared between the three occupants. These include broadband, cleaning in the communal living spaces (but not bedrooms), access to Netflix and Now TV (includes Entertainment and Film package), electricity, water, tv license and council tax. Depending on usage and time of year, prices can vary each month but as this is shared equally between three occupants, its makes it affordable for each of us. Also while there is no parking at the flat, there is limited free parking on the road outside the flat after 8pm and the area is well served by local transport.

The apartment has been fully redecorated and it is light and airy and in good condition. I am looking for a professional female who is friendly and easy to get along with, but who is also clean, tidy and respectful. Both of us are busy, social people and while we are often in throughout the week cooking and watching tv, we can spend some nights out with friends and are often busy over the weekend. We both work normal working hours so looking for someone who has a similar routine and preferably does not work evening/night shifts.

The room will be available from the end of March, with a monthly rolling contract in place. One months rent would also be required as a deposit.
