We are two first year (starting our 2nd year in October) UoM PhD students living in a lovely three bedroom house in Hulme looking for another housemate to join us from September 2022 (room available immediately!)
The rent is 435pcm (without bills included).
There is a double-bedroom available. The house has off-street parking, is well insulated (gas central heating and double glazing), and is fully furnished with a large living room, a modern fitted kitchen, and a large study with plenty of room for storage. There is a large shared bathroom (with bath, toilet, and shower) as well as a separate downstairs toilet. The house also has a garden with a picnic table/lounge area. The house is also fitted with an alarm system.
It is in an excellent location with local amenities, a short walk from the city centre and walking distance from the Universities. It is also only a 10minute walk away from Asda and Hulme high street so very convenient for shopping. Hulme Library and Moss Side leisure centre/gym/swimming pool is also nearby. There are also excellent transport links to the City Centre and Universities.
We are both very sociable and clean and would love a housemate we can watch films and eat with. One of us is a cancer biologist and the other is a plant biologist so the house has lots of exotic and wonderful houseplants!
Our ideal housemate would be another postgraduate student we could get along with, although we are open to all inquiries! If you are currently in Manchester we would love to have you over for a coffee and a chat and a tour of the house. If you are not we would be happy to do that over zoom as well :)
