Description
Hello 👋
I'm currently looking for a new flatmate to share a top floor apartment with in Hulme. The room available is furnished and offers plenty of space with a double bed, wardrobe, and storage. Natural light fills the room through a large window, and it is situated in a very quiet location – a far cry from your typical city centre apartment, as it overlooks a residential street.
The apartment is more spacious than what you would typically find in town. The kitchen and living area are open plan, and the bathroom has both a bath and separate shower. There is a lift, so no need to worry about the stairs when you're feeling lazy. Also, there is a balcony to chill out on too – handy for the few days a year it doesn't rain!
The best part about the flat is the location – just a short 12-minute walk to Deansgate and the city centre. Plus, there's a supermarket around the corner for your convenience, and the local leisure centre is nearby offering a gym, swimming pool, sauna, and squash courts.
Rent is only £470pcm per person, and bills come to roughly £135pcm per person (internet, water, electricity, and council tax - band B). If you have a car, there is an underground parking spot available.
One thing to note is that I often work nights and follow an irregular shift pattern, so there will be times when I'm sleeping during the day, sometimes even on weekends. Therefore, I'm particularly interested in finding a flatmate who's considerate of this and is flexible to being quiet during some hours.
Ideally, I'm on the lookout for a flatmate who shares similar interests with me – someone I can have a pint with, go to gigs with for example, but also who appreciates having their own space, as that's equally important. Getting along well with one another would be a definite bonus.
The room should be available from the end of September. My current flatmate is moving in with their partner, so I can only confirm the exact date once they've secured their new place. I'm aiming to have everything sorted over the next few weeks.
Feel free to drop me a message on here with any questions you may have. Ideally, I'd like to meet up for a pint to see how we get along. I look forward to hearing from you!
