Denmark Road by Sanctuary Students is an official University of Manchester student accommodation, managed by Sanctuary Students. This room is available for re-letting through the official Sanctuary Students website.
The official website shows it’s fully booked now – this is a fantastic deal at £226 per week including bills, with a spacious 20 sqm room (similar in size to many studios!). The room is bright with large windows, and the layout is as shown in the photos. You’ll share a well-equipped kitchen with just 3 other flatmates, and there’s plenty of communal space.

The location is perfect– just a 5-minute walk to campus, and right between the Whitworth Art Gallery and university buildings. It’s also super convenient, with McDonald, Oxford Road’s Chinese supermarket, Lidl, Tesco and Sainsbury all nearby. It adjoins to Denmark Road Sports Centre and gyms as well.

As official university accommodation, your flatmates will all be students, so it’s safe and quiet. The building itself has great facilities, including ping-pong tables, laundry, and shared social spaces.
I can’t move in due to a change in my offer, but I’ve already paid the deposit. The accommodation team said I need to find someone to take over the room officially through their system.
