2 bedrooms in bright, spacious shared flat

Hello! We are looking for 2 friendly female housemates to move in starting the 20th July.
We are currently a household of 4 girls and 2 of us are leaving for new jobs and new starts and looking for our replacements.

We have two rooms available:

One large double room with an en suite on the top floor for £695 (not including bills).
One smaller double with a shared bathroom (with 2 other clean and tidy girls) on the middle floor of the house for £625 (not including bills).

*The house is rented through a local agency so you will need to pass the agency checks and be approved by them firstly. The contract is signed as a whole house rather than 4 individual contracts so the rent is split based on room size.

The bills are split equally 4 ways. We currently put £150 per month in for all bills and council tax but usually have leftover money which we divide back again during the year.

Both rooms are furnished, and the kitchen is equipped with 2 fridge/freezers, oven,
microwave, toaster, air fryer, kettles and washing machine. We share all the pots and pans/plates/glasses/cutlery etc but you’re of course welcome to have your own as well. 🙂

We have a living room on the middle floor for everyone to use, one main upstairs bathroom (which 3 of us share but this has never been a problem at all), and one additional downstairs toilet and sink. We have a medium sized stony back garden area which gets lots of sun in the afternoons. There is driveway space to park one car and lots of on-street permit parking as well.

The house is well connected to the city centre with a number of bus routes within a 7-8 min walk, a large supermarket complex around 10 mins away, a number of other smaller shops such as Morrisons daily and coop within a 10-15 min walk. Manchester met uni is a 10 min walk away and UoM is around 25 min walk, so both are accessible for students if you’re studying.

Who will you be living with?

You will be sharing 2 women in their 30s (ish - who is counting?)
One is an English lit PhD student from the USA, and the other is a student midwife who is due to qualify in September. We are the kind of household that enjoy spending time together for a movie or tv show, getting a takeaway together, but also respect each others space when needed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who are clean, tidy and respectful of other people’s space and belongings. Open to both mature students or professionals (although we split the council tax 4 ways regardless). Age is just a number so we are very flexible on age, however we are no longer in our 20s and are not a party household, so if you’re looking to have lots of people over every single weekend, this may not be the best fit for us.
