Cozy Small Double Room in Leigh

Hello. I'm Dan. I'm looking for somebody to share my comfortable three-bedroom home with. I'm fairly open minded as to who that is (I ticked the LGBTQ+ and vegan preferred boxes to help those find the room). Open to working people and students alike.

All bills included! This covers utilities, high-speed internet, council tax (Band A), and TV license. (Student Discount: If you're exempt from council tax, the rent is reduced by £53.40.)

The room is recently furnished with brand new: small double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk, and chair. Let me know if there are any other essentials you need!

The house is a three bedroom property, but it'll just be the two of us (you and me) living there although sometimes I have visitors that will stay in either my room or the third room. I'm currently very slowly improving the house since moving in just over a year ago. So depending on how long you stay, there may be some temporary disruption with kitchen and hallway renovations.

There's plenty of street parking around. If you like cycling and running, the canal can be accessed just a few steps down the road. The guided busway is less than ten minutes walk away, so it's easy and cheap transport into Manchester, 24 hours a day. Salford and Manchester unis are on the bus route. Leigh bus station is also nearby, about 10 mins walk away in the town centre.

About me: I work for a small charity, mostly at our office in Manchester city centre, occasionally from home (in bedroom number three), and occasionally work away for days at a time. I like to be active, and love being outside especially in summer. So, I'm not home that often. Sometimes I like to have friends over for dinner and board games. It'd be nice to have a housemate who likes to join in with things like that :)

The ideal housemate will be easy going, clean and tidy, quiet at night time, and respectful of neighbours. If not LGBTQ+ you'll have to be comfortable living with somebody that is. I'm vegan, but you don't have to be.
