Lovely Double Room available

Hey my name’s Sean and I’m looking for someone to rent my spare double bedroom in a lovely house in Levenshulme/Burnage.

House is shared with myself and one of person (Kye). I also own a very friendly cat called Yoshi so cat lovers are preferred!

House is large and spacious and has a nice relaxed vibe. Typically housemates tend to hang out and do stuff together sometimes but also enjoy doing our own thing. Looking for someone who wants to make a place feel like home.

I’m a full time professional who works partly from home and partly in the office during the week. Kye works in the 3rd sector and is studying to be a therapist.

Typically in my spare time I enjoy DnB, watching football, playing video games, watching movies, hiking, playing squash, and travelling. I lived abroad for 5-years in Australia & New Zealand and enjoy trying to get away and visiting new places as much as possible. House is really good for this as Mauldeth road train station is only ten minutes walk away with trains going directly to the airport. The 50 bus into town is also only round the corner and it’s a 15/20 minute walk to Levenshulme train station and Stockport Road so it’s really easy to get into the city centre. We’re also really close to the Fallowfield Loop so it’s easy to get to Withington/Fallowfield, or Chorlton by Bike, or if you just wanted a nice place to go for a walk!

The room is nice and big and was originally the master bedroom for the house before the loft extension was done. It has exposed wooden floors and big bay windows looking out over the front of the house. Room comes furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside table. I can also provide a desk if desired.

The road is a cul-de-sac so is nice and quiet and means people aren’t driving down it very often. There’s also always plenty of parking on the street if you’ve got a car.
Bathroom is shared with only one other person as I’ve got a separate bathroom upstairs.

House comes with super-fast broadband and has a cleaner that comes twice a week to clean all the shared space in the house. There’s also easy access outside storage we use for bikes and can be used if you need to store stuff.

Rent is £600 per month plus bills (typically £120 - £160 per month depending on the time of year), deposit is one month’s rent. Room is available immediately and preferably is available to someone who wants to stay for a while although short term lets would be considered.
